IP​/Business Law Attorney

They are seeking a seasoned Business Law Attorney to join their team. In this role, you will advise clients on a wide range of business law matters and utilize your expertise in Intellectual Property to provide strategic and practical solutions.

• Conduct initial consultation with clients
• Handle business law cases from inception to conclusion, including strategy development and document preparation.
• Provide counsel on Copyright and Trademark matters, as well as related Intellectual Property issues.
• Identify the appropriate strategy to meet the client's expressed objectives and make recommendations to fulfill those objectives.
• Collaborate with clients, accountants, financial advisors, and other stakeholders to advance cases effectively.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients through consistent and timely communication.
• Draft business documents, including general contracts, corporate documents and various other transactional agreements.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts and explain all provisions of the documents to the client.
• Develop a client following to increase the firm's revenues.

• 5+ years of experience managing business law cases.
• Strong background and expertise in Intellectual Property law, particularly Copyright and Trademark.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse professionals to achieve successful outcomes.
• Ability to self-start, meet deadlines, prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well with change in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing excellent client service and fostering trust.
• Demonstrates a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity in the handling of personal client information, including following the Rules of Professional Conduct.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Working knowledge of finance, investments and taxes.
• Strong computer skills with extensive experience using MS Office Suite, timekeeping, and case management software.

• Competitive annual salary range of $130,000 - $150,000, DOE.
