Responsibilities
This is a full‑time, 36‑hour per week position located at Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California. The role includes full benefits, and provides opportunities for overtime and covering various shifts.
Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Nurses will care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Nurses also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies and consistently demonstrate the hospital’s core values.
- Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac monitoring, identifies dysrhythmias and treats appropriately.
- Accurately assigns triage categories.
- Maintains current knowledge of medications and their administration based on age/clinical condition.
- Assists emergency room physician with diagnosis and interventional procedures, e.g., central lines, closed reductions, advanced airway management.
Full‑time, 36 hours per week. Sign‑on bonus up to $3,000. Overtime and shift coverage as needed.

- One year experience in an acute‑care pediatric emergency facility.
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- BSN preferred.
- Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- ACLS (AHA) certification.
- PALS (AHA) certification.
- NIH Stroke certification.
- CEN encouraged.
