Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is a
-bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers /7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites.
Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children
Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator is a Registered Nurse (RN) who works within the context of an emergency care, from a team approach and in continuous partnership with families and physicians to promote timely access to needed care, comprehension and continuity of care, and the enhancement of child and family well-being. Primary duties include enhancing communication among providers, family, and community partners, promoting access to hospital services and increasing health promotion activities.
Position will function as an RN within the ED as needed.

QualificationsThree (3) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department—pediatric experience preferred
Three (3) years relevant experience, or the equivalent of a Pediatric Emergence Care Coordinator (PECC), in acute care pediatrics preferred.
Bachelors of Nursing Degree (BSN) required
Required Licensure / Certifications- Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
- BLS (AHA) Certification
- ACLS (AHA) Certification
- NIH Stroke Certification to be completed by end of the week of NEO
- Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse preferred
