Registered Nurse; RN - Labor and Delivery - Night Shift

Responsibilities

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California is a 120‑bed acute‑care hospital with the region's only pediatric emergency services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board‑certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area’s only OB/ER program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on‑site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family‑friendly private suites.

Rancho’s NICU is operated by Rady Children’s.

Staff registered nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborating and providing comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, performing assessments, treatments and care on assigned units. They will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff registered nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies and consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ core values and the hospitals mission statement.

• Completion of an accredited registered nursing program.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification. Successful completion of course every two years.
• Complete AWHONN Basic Fetal Monitoring class within New to Specialty training program.
• Complete AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring class within 9 months of hire into a New to Specialty training program.
• NRP successful completion of course of the AAP and AHA.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• BSN preferred.
