Registered Nurse; RN - Pediatric​/Emergency - Day Shift

Responsibilities

This is a full‑time, 36 hours per week, position with full benefits. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

This position also qualifies for a $3k sign‑on bonus.

• Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac monitoring, identifies dysrythmias and treats appropriately.
• Accurately assigns triage categories.
• Maintains current knowledge of medications and their administration based on age of patient and their clinical condition.
• Is able to assist emergency room physician with diagnosis and interventional procedures, i.e., central lines, closed reductions, advanced airway management.

• One (1) year experience in an acute care Pediatric Emergency facility
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• BSN Preferred
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• PALS (AHA) certification
• NIH Stroke Certification (CEN encouraged).
