What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Apartment Refresh – Repair surfaces, replace fixtures, test appliances, change HVAC filters, touch up flooring and carpet, and apply fresh paint to get apartments sparkling clean and move-in ready.
  • Safety First – Keep a safe work environment for both residents and your team while following all company and industry safety standards.
  • Pitch In – Support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs and property upkeep whenever needed.
  • Resident-Friendly – Interact with residents in a friendly, professional way when you’re working on‑site.

  • Familiarity with a variety of tools and materials needed to maintain residential buildings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly.
  • Treats everyone with respect and dignity, accepts responsibility and takes ownership of tasks, follows through on commitments, takes initiative and maintains confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines.

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED is required, and a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in property management or hospitality.
  • Prior experience in general building maintenance or painting in a commercial, residential environment preferred, including general handyman work, light carpentry, electrical, or plumbing.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license to operate company‑owned vehicles or to utilize own vehicle for work.
Physical Requirements
  • Expected work hours: 7:30 to 5:00, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
  • Travel:
    Occasionally may need to drive a company‑owned or personal vehicle for business.
  • Able to frequently lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds; occasionally may need to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to use hands to manipulate tools and objects or control equipment; adequate vision to do the same safely; stamina and dexterity.
