A growing organization in the construction industry is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an AP professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys collaborating with a dynamic team to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.

• Process high-volume invoices and payments with accuracy and efficiency.
• The AP Specialist will monitor and manage a shared accounts payable inbox, responding to vendor and internal inquiries.
• Route invoices for coding and approvals while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Perform data entry and invoice processing across multiple accounting and AP automation systems.
• The AP Specialist will assist with vendor setup, payment tracking, and resolution of invoice discrepancies.
• The AP Specialist will collaborate with team members to maintain timely processing and excellent customer service.

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Construction or construction services industry experience preferred.
• Experience working in a high-volume AP environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with ERP systems or AP automation software such as Oracle or Soft Co is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
