Summary
The Testing Coordinator, as the School's District Assessment Coordinator (DAC), will plan and coordinate all aspects associated with testing for students of the 21 st Century Cyber Charter School, to include, but not limited to PSSA, Keystone, PSAT/SAT, AP, and ELL testing, under the supervision of the Principal.
The DAC will follow the Pennsylvania Department of Education's System of School Assessment Handbook for all state-mandated testing procedures and requirements.
- Assess the need for testing sites throughout the Commonwealth to the established parameters; communicate with testing venues to determine viability for testing.
- Create and follow the testing timeline to ensure all aspects of testing protocols are completed to required standards.
- Coordinate vendors to secure locations, services; coordinate the purchase of any necessary supplies to support the testing process.
- Coordinate and provide testing/proctor training for all staff.
- Supported by the Business Office, the Testing Coordinator will initiate purchase orders, review invoices, and approve payments as needed for testing sites, supplies, etc.
- The Coordinator will process travel/accommodation requests related to testing for staff, to include car rental requests.
- Update and maintain information in the Learning Management System.
- Communicate testing procedures and expectations to students and families
- Communicate testing timeline, expectations, and procedures to all test proctors
- Maintain an accurate inventory of testing materials and organize for proper and secure storage per testing requirements.
- Arrange for proper transportation of all testing supplies/equipment to and from testing sites.
- Address all opt-out inquiries and facilitate all opt-out procedures set forth by the school and PDE.
- Create and maintain proctor assignments for all testing locations to be reviewed by the supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Demonstration of strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Demonstration of the ability to motivate/lead teams and individuals in conjunction with administration.
- Successful completion of the School's induction program. - Satisfactory (or better) annual evaluations for the prior year (a minimum of one full school year with the school).
