Co-op - Patient Interface Mask Engineering - Murrysville, PA

Are you interested in a co-op opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid co-op opportunities. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a Health Tech company.
** Your role:
*** Assist in the Design, Prototype, and Testing of CPAP mask systems and sub-systems.
* Compile and analyze data to support mask and CPAP machine designs.
* Support small-scale fabrication and assembly of prototypes and support bench testing and trialing of prototypes.
* Be highly motivated, self-disciplined, open-minded individual possessing hands-on skills. Successfully interact with group members in various technical disciplines.
* Use critical thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.  Deliver creative solutions to somewhat complex and subjective problems.
** You're the right fit if:
*** Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Plastics Engineering or related Student
* Solid basic computer skills including MS Office Suite
* Good communication and presentation skills for reporting project status
* Knowledge of CAD (Pro-E), FEA and CFD, software desired. Detail oriented documentation skills desired and passion for learning

** The hourly pay range for this position is Bachelor: $26.00-$29.00, Masters: $33.00-$46.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
