Job Description Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Applied AI across Philips SRC, establishing a Center of Excellence that drives scalable AI innovation, accelerates time-to-market, embeds AI into enterprise governance and operations, and delivers measurable business impact while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.
** Your role:
*** Define and continuously evolve the operating model, methodologies, standards, and governance frameworks for applied AI across the business. Translate corporate AI strategy into a prioritized portfolio of initiatives aligned to key business outcomes such as revenue growth, cost efficiency, customer experience, and risk management.
* Serve as the primary AI advisor to executive and business leaders, helping shape long-term AI investment strategies and transformation roadmaps. Build organizational alignment around high-impact AI opportunities and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value.
* Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of AI professionals, including data scientists, ML engineers, AI product managers, and related specialists. Foster AI literacy and adoption across business functions to strengthen enterprise-wide AI capabilities.
* Lead the end-to-end execution of AI use cases from opportunity identification through deployment, measurement, and continuous improvement. Manage strategic relationships with AI technology vendors, cloud providers, and external partners while establishing frameworks to track ROI, business impact, and capability maturity.
* Ensure responsible AI principles, regulatory compliance, and ethical standards are embedded within all AI initiatives and governance processes. Represent the organization externally through industry engagement, thought leadership, policy development, and communications that build trust with customers, regulators, and other stakeholders.
** You're the right fit if:
*** You’ve acquired 8+ years of experience in Project Development, Business Strategy, Portfolio Management or Program Management with a strong understanding of artificial intelligence/machine learning or data science. This is complimented by 5+ years in a leadership capacity with a P&L or enterprise-wide scope.
* Your skills include: + Demonstrated leadership including driving changes across functional and global teams. + Ability to lead strategic portfolio and program activities, including prioritization, benefits realization, change management, governance, forecasting, and dependency management. + Strong understanding of global medical device regulations, including FDA and EU MDR, with experience collaborating and communicating effectively with regulatory authorities and clinical stakeholders is preferred.
* You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or similar field of study. Advanced training or certification in AI, data science, biostatistics, health informatics or digital health is strongly preferred.
* You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
* You’re an exceptional communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing, aligning, and building credibility with diverse stakeholders across functions, businesses, and leadership levels.

** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
