Mechanical Technician

Participates in the skilled mechanical maintenance activities of rotating and stationary equipment/ process plant machineries of the assigned areas. i.e.

-Gas distribution systems (GDS) or Tank farm/Terminal/NGCF Areas. This includes execution of preventive, corrective, breakdown & inspection related mechanical maintenance jobs on equipment/machineries like Oil/Condensate export Pumps, marine loading arms, diesel engines, crude and condensate storage tanks, crude & condensate loading terminal equipment including Oil fiscal metering systems, Prover loops, pipe lines/valves/related accessories, compressors, pumps, fin-fans, heat exchangers/coolers, water storage tanks, vessels, fire protection systems/foam systems.

Also executes minor pipe fabrication/fitting jobs. Carries out work in accordance with Corporation and applicable industry standards.

4 Years experience in the maintenance of compressors, pumps, and associated equipment.

Good knowledge of spoken and written English. Good knowledge in Computer.

Completion of secondary (12 years) education, followed by 3 years formal full-time education (equivalent to Diploma) to HND level or equivalent.
