Job Description

Assist the department head in product research, productplanning, specification comparison, product information dissemination and pricing analysis for the brands.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, update, and manage pricing for new vehicles factoring in market trends, competitor pricing, inventory aging, and sales targets.
  • Create comparison of model specifications, grade walk and suggestion positioning the model with competitive models.
  • Create and manage the database of Chinese model specifications.
  • Assist in determining the price positioning for current product range and deciding on future product positioning strategy.
  • Collect and update information on competitor models and market trend.
  • Create model codes and product specifications in system and support order planning.
  • Analyze market conditions, supply-demand factors, and competitors’ offerings to propose price adjustments.
  • Ensure all pricing data is accurately reflected in internal systems, dealer platforms, and customer-facing channels (website, online classifieds, etc.).
  • Monitor vehicle aging reports and recommend discounting or promotional pricing for slow-moving inventory.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support promotions, campaigns, and volume-based offers.
  • Work with OEMs and internal stakeholders on incentive programs, rebates, and pricing updates.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on pricing effectiveness, stock movement, and gross margin performance.
  • Generate grade walk / product specifications sheets for sales team.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies, legal standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Preparing presentations for negotiating product specifications and pricing with principals.
  • Conduct pricing study on new models to be introduced in the market.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Automotive Management, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in pricing, sales analysis, or inventory management in the automotive or retail sector.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive retail, dealership operations.
  • Proficient in Excel usage with advanced formulae.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle specifications, pricing in the market.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
