Building a gigawatt-scale energy platform means more than developing projects, it means building the industrial capability behind them. A new wind turbine manufacturing operation needs a leader who can win the business that justifies the plant, and run the plant well enough to deliver on what's been sold.

Capax Mundi is searching, on behalf of a confidential gigawatt-scale energy and data‑centre platform operating across the GCC, Africa and Europe, for a Managing Director to take on exactly that challenge.

This is a genuinely dual role. You will lead commercial strategy and business development for the manufacturing operation, building the customer relationships and partnerships that generate order volume, while also owning operational excellence and lean manufacturing practice on the plant itself.

• An existing track record in wind turbine manufacturing, or closely adjacent capital equipment manufacturing
• A strong commercial development background, with a record of winning and growing business
• Practical understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally including lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
• The credibility to lead a manufacturing organisation while also being the face of the business commercially
• Based in or willing to be based in the Nordics, Spain or the GCC
