Manager - Business Performance Management & Analytics
Job Purpose:
The Manager – Business Performance Management & Analytics is responsible for leading and governing the Business Division’s performance management, business analytics, management reporting, and business planning activities to ensure alignment with the Bank’s strategic objectives and business priorities. He/She develops and maintains performance frameworks, scorecards, executive dashboards, portfolio analytics, and business insights that enable effective performance monitoring, informed decision-making, and continuous improvement across the Business Division.
The Manager – Business Performance Management & Analytics drives performance optimization by leveraging financial and operational data, productivity analysis, forecasting, and business intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manages the division’s business performance management framework, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives, key performance indicators, business priorities, and expected outcomes.
- Develops, monitors, and continuously enhances divisional and departmental scorecards, performance dashboards, and management reporting frameworks.
- Manages the preparation and coordination of executive management reporting, including CEO dashboards, Executive Management reports, Board submissions, and other management information requirements related to Business performance.
- Monitors business performance against approved targets and provides timely insights, analysis, and recommendations to support management decision-making and corrective actions.
- Leads portfolio performance analysis across the Bank’s business products, customer segments, programs, channels, and partnerships to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for performance improvement.
- Translates financial, operational, customer, and business data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations that support business growth and performance optimization.
- Manages business planning, forecasting, productivity analysis, and capacity planning activities in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Develops and governs business performance metrics, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, integrity, and reliability of performance information and management reporting.
- Manages incentive performance tracking and productivity measurement frameworks, ensuring alignment with approved business objectives, performance targets, and applicable policies.
- Conducts financial and operational performance analysis to assess business results, identify performance gaps, and recommend appropriate improvement actions.
- Establishes performance governance mechanisms to ensure effective monitoring, accountability, escalation, and follow-up of business priorities, commitments, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Partners cross functionally to enhance business intelligence, reporting capabilities, data accessibility, and dashboard automation.
- Identifies opportunities to improve business performance through process optimization, automation, productivity enhancement, and effective utilization of business intelligence and analytics.
- Supports the development of business cases, feasibility assessments, and performance scenarios by providing relevant financial, operational, and analytical insights.
- Leverages business intelligence and data visualization tools to enhance the accessibility, quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of management information.
- Continuously monitors banking industry trends, performance management practices, analytical techniques, and emerging business intelligence capabilities to enhance the Division’s performance management practices.
- Develops, coaches, and motivates employees while fostering collaboration, accountability, analytical thinking, and high performance.
- Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, governance frameworks, internal policies, and corporate procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.
