Director​/Manager - Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct planning, implementation, and management of financial strategy and fiscal responsibilities for ASAAS and its subsidiaries.
• Provide strategic inputs for the ASAAS business strategy and lead the creation of the detailed business plan.
• Perform financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting in compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide advisory on investments from a financial standpoint and lead the process of securing funding for ASAAS projects.
• Act as an advisor to ASAAS leadership on all finance‑related matters, support creation of the business strategy, and contribute to the detailed business plan aligned with strategic objectives.
• Assess the viability of investments and ensure accessibility to funds for ASAAS and its subsidiaries.
• Provide executive‑level support to the management board of directors and relevant external authorities on financial matters.
• Develop and maintain finance policies, processes, and procedures in line with local regulations and international best practices.
• Maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders such as shareholders, authorities, and banks.
• Critically evaluate new projects and strategic initiatives from a financial and risk perspective.
• Develop periodic financial statements (balance sheet, income statements, and other reports) monthly, quarterly, and annually, and share with stakeholders to inform decision‑making.
• Lead all accounting activities in line with accounting standards, oversee the General Ledger, and manage timely reconciliation of bank accounts.
• Oversee accurate processing of employee payroll and timely disbursement of payments to vendors, suppliers, and third‑party consultants.
• Evaluate tax structure options, design and implement an optimized structure, and oversee preparation and filing of taxes such as income tax, withholding tax, VAT, etc.
• Lead audit activities for the Annual AGM approvals of financials.
• Develop and monitor the annual budget in collaboration with other departments, monitor the financial plan, and manage variances to develop cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Assist top management and investors in decision‑making by leading development of financial models, forecasting, and analysis to recognize trends and business expansion opportunities.
• Develop and implement processes and systems to raise, deploy, and manage funds and report cash flow, participate in securing financial deals, and negotiate financing for the business and its projects.
• Provide ad‑hoc advice on various business transactions and dealings.
• Develop monthly cash‑flow variance reports and capital expenditure reports.
• Maintain relationships with financial institutions and proactively seek new investors for ASAAS.
• Oversee and support continuous improvement in financial and reporting systems and implement initiatives recommended by risk and audit teams.
• Lead asset portfolio monitoring and oversee retail development and leasing activities to enhance returns.
• Ensure operationalisation and effective management of the asset portfolio of ASAAS assets.

Preferred MBA/M.Sc. or ACCA/CFA degree. Bachelor’s degree from accredited institutions in Finance, Business, Economics, or any equivalent degree.

15+ years experience in the field of finance. Experience in development, investment, and real estate preferred.
