Senior Accountant; F&B Industry

Company Description

Takamul National Company is an Oman-based food and beverage group with over a decade of experience operating restaurant and coffee concepts across the country. Through its entities, the company manages a growing portfolio of international franchise and homegrown brands.

• Responsible for overseeing the financial accounting and reporting activities for the company’s restaurant and coffee brands.
• The role includes managing the general ledger, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements,
• Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations.
• The Senior Accountant will monitor cost of goods sold, inventory, and store-level P&L performance,
• Reconcile accounts, review journal entries, and support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• The role also involves coordinating with operations, procurement, and HR to validate financial data, analyze variances, and provide clear insights to management on profitability and cash flow.
• The Senior Accountant will support internal and external audits, enhance financial controls, and recommend process improvements to drive accuracy and efficiency across the finance function.

• Strong foundation in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
• Experience using Foodics is a Plus
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience using accounting and ERP systems , along with good Excel skills for reconciliations, reporting, and financial modeling.
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements, and coordinate audit activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under time constraints and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
• Previous experience in the food and beverage, retail, or hospitality industry at a senior or supervisory accounting level is a plus
