Purpose and Summary
- To Lead, Monitor and Guide the Card Issuance Section to ensure smooth functioning of the section.
- Responsible of issuance of Debit and Credit Cards and stock management.
- Oversee the Card Issuance section and ensure all activities are being carried out systematically.
- Responsible for acknowledging the recipient of the credit card application received from branches and call center.
- Perform secondary card application review for customer’s details (customer name, account number, etc.) and provide the approval for issuance of physical card in a timely manner.
- Liaise with ITD, AFS, branches, Department, Section and call center to ensure all card issuance related issues and queries are resolved in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the external vendors/Card suppliers regarding the supply of physical bank cards,
- Ensure regular meetings are held with the team to address their concerns and challenges faced into the unit
- Ensure you coordinate with HR to catch up on the latest training so the team can attend.
- Ensure all new processes are updated in Card Operations SOP
- Ensure availability of sufficient stock of cards in the bank custody as and when required.
- Ensure Credit Card payment run on time and balances are match.
- Ensure Credit card & debit cards renewal attended in advance.
- Maintain Card related monthly MIS and quarterly CBO Report are submitted on a timely.
- Responsible for reviewing and approving in case of any modification request in the card issued for existing customers in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that the card statements (upon request) are issued to customers within the Turnover time (TAT). Also, Corporate Credit Card Staff Statement sent timely.
- Ensure all activities are carried out according to bank’s policies, procedures, and standards.
- Lead, Monitor the performance and development of Card Issuance section team.
- Participate in other related initiatives and projects as assigned or other duties as assigned by management.

- Strong Understanding of Cards operations and systems.
