Job PurposeTo lead the development and execution of the Investor Relations and Stakeholder Management strategy, ensuring transparent, consistent, and timely communication with investors, analysts, and external stakeholders. Responsible for managing key capital market disclosures, overseeing investor engagement initiatives, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership, thereby enhancing the company’s market reputation, investor confidence, and long-term shareholder value.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities- Investor Relations and Stakeholder Management
- Regular external reporting activities: support Head of IR & ESG in preparing company’s key messages and ensure data required by the financial markets is provided in a clear and concise manner on a timely basis, including all regulatory announcements and disclosures.
- Work with the external IR advisory consultancy and internal OQEP team to ensure all capital market related press releases are produced on a timely basis.
- Maintain the Investor Relations section of the corporate website; and prepare other collateral and presentations, including the annual report and investor packs to support analyst/investor outreach.
- Support Head of IR & ESG in maintaining a database of all investor/broker contact.
- Support the production of the Annual Report in conjunction with other relevant business verticals.
- Maintain investor relation calendar and coordinate information gathering from multiple sources on key drivers behind the numbers and agree on comments to be incorporated into the reports.
- Assist in business reporting and monitoring improvement including capabilities, procedures and practices.
- Investor Targeting/Analyst Outreach
- Preparing competitor and peer‑group analyses; shareholder and bondholder identification, including supporting external bondholder and shareholder identification service providers.
- Supporting Head of IR & ESG in developing an annual investor targeting programme and the annual calendar of IR engagement plan.
- Preparing capital markets communications literature and presentations, slide show packs and roadshow materials.
- Supporting periodic investor sessions, non‑deal roadshows, capital markets day, investor meeting, and supporting ad‑hoc analyst and investor tours, ensuring supporting materials are prepared as necessary.
- Maintaining regular contact with buy‑side and sell‑side analysts, including responding to ad‑hoc queries.
- Supporting the execution of Debt Capital Market IR programme and maintaining good relationships with the Rating Agency.
- Ongoing Management of IR Activities
- Preparing share price monitoring report; monitoring analysts’ forecast on an ongoing basis and comparing with the Company’s own forecasts.
- Monitoring analyst research reports on the Company and its peers.
- Supporting Head of IR & ESG in preparing an annual plan and budget for the IR function.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with external stakeholder events and programmes such as investor conferences, conference calls and roadshows.
- Co‑ordinate with internal teams under CFO, COO, CCO, and general Counsel and JV and Operated Assets team.
- Represent the company to equity and fixed‑income analysts, MSX, FSA and relevant investment community.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business or Marketing.
- Excellent reading, writing and speaking English (Required).
- Arabic language desirable.
- 10–12+ years of relevant experience, preferable previous experiences working in an oil and gas company.
- 3+ years of experience working in corporate finance and/or capital market environment.
- Good capability to analyse and interpret consolidated financial statements.
- Experienced in developing high‑quality management reports and investor‑focused presentations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strategic thinking, executive presence, stakeholder management, analytical mindset, collaboration, adaptability, attention to detail.
- Technical skills: financial modelling, capital markets, regulatory reporting, presentations, CRM & BI tools, project management.
