Role Purpose
Lead Omantel's corporate asset management framework by ensuring effective governance, lifecycle management, portfolio performance oversight, and value realization across subsidiaries and strategic investments. The role is responsible for maximizing shareholder value through strategic portfolio management, governance excellence, performance monitoring, and alignment of all portfolio entities with Omantel's long term corporate strategy.

- Minimum role requirements:
- Bachelor in relevant discipline
- Internal Applicants: 8 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a management position
- Lead governance of Omantel's subsidiaries and strategic investments to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and shareholder objectives.
- Drive portfolio planning, optimization, and value creation initiatives across the asset portfolio.
- Monitor financial, operational, and strategic performance of portfolio entities.
- Identify performance gaps, recommend corrective actions, and deliver executive insights to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure effective governance frameworks, Board reporting, and compliance across subsidiaries.
- Maintain oversight of shareholder interests, governance structures, and corporate policies.
- Support investment evaluations, restructuring, acquisitions, divestments, and other strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with Strategy, Finance, and Investments to align portfolio decisions with corporate priorities.
- Develop executive dashboards and portfolio reports that provide visibility into performance, risks, and value realization.
- Present insights and recommendations to Executive Management and Board Committees.
- Identify and mitigate strategic, financial, and operational risks across the portfolio.
- Ensure portfolio entities remain aligned with Omantel's long-term strategy and governance standards.
