An established Equity Research team is looking to hire a Junior Equity Research Analyst to join its growing research platform, based full-time in Oman.

The team is currently focused on Omani equities
, with plans to expand its coverage into Central Asia and broader natural resources markets. The successful candidate will play an important role in developing this additional coverage, with exposure across both equities and commodities
.

The team specialises in:

• Oil & Gas
• Natural Resources
• Mining
• Commodities
• Equities / Equity Research

The successful candidate will initially support existing Omani coverage, while helping develop research capabilities across Central Asia
, with a particular focus on natural resources, energy and commodity-related companies.

• Maintain and update detailed financial models for companies within the assigned sector.
• Monitor daily news flow, company announcements and broader sector developments.
• Conduct fundamental research and analysis across Oil & Gas, Mining and Natural Resources.
• Analyse company financial results and assess their implications for investment views.
• Prepare earnings updates, company notes and sector research.
• Consolidate company results and research findings into clear investment conclusions.
• Monitor commodity prices, macroeconomic developments and industry trends.
• Support the development of new coverage across Central Asian markets.
• Conduct company and industry research across both listed equities and relevant commodities.
• Assist senior analysts with investment ideas, valuation analysis and thematic research.
• Build relationships with company management, industry contacts and market participants.
• Contribute to the team's broader research output and client engagement.

The successful candidate will ideally have approximately 3 years of relevant experience from one of the following backgrounds:

• Equity Research
• Investment Banking
• Management / Strategy Consulting
• A closely related analytical role within Energy, Mining or Natural Resources

Candidates should have a genuine interest in Oil & Gas, Mining and Natural Resources
, with strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.

The ideal profile will demonstrate:
