Purpose
The Senior Treasury & Financial Analyst is responsible for managing the company's treasury operations while providing financial analysis and business insights to support strategic decision-making. The role oversees cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, debt administration, financial forecasting, budgeting, and investment analysis to ensure the organization's financial stability and operational efficiency and ensures that are in accordance with the budget and SDIC company Financial Rules.

Identify and provide feedback and suggestions to the finance team related to improvements to SDIC company’s policies, procedures, processes, financial systems, and related programs.
Operational Related Assignments- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Coordinate the opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts.
- Monitor banking facilities and ensure compliance with banking requirements.
- Resolve banking-related issues promptly.
- Monitor all loan facilities and financing agreements.
- Track loan drawdowns, repayments, and profit/interest payments.
- Ensure compliance with financing covenants.
- Coordinate with lenders regarding facility utilization and reporting requirements.
- Support new financing arrangements and refinancing initiatives.
- Monitor escrow account balances and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with escrow regulations and agreements.
- Coordinate with escrow banks, project teams, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare escrow fund withdrawal requests and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile escrow accounts regularly.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual cash flow forecasts.
- Analyze cash variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare treasury reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies and financial controls.
- Maintain accurate treasury records and documentation.
- Develop & Maintain the financial models for business planning and investment decisions.
- Analyze financial performance against budget and prior periods.
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial dashboards.
- Support feasibility studies and investment appraisals.
- Analyze project profitability and return on investment.
- Monitor project cash flows and funding requirements.
- Project-based tasks and duties.
- Timely processing of treasury transactions.
- Compliance with loan covenants and financing agreements.
- Timely completion of bank reconciliations.
- Accuracy and timeliness of treasury reports.
- Effective management of escrow accounts.
- Strong banking relationship management.
- Continuous improvement of treasury processes and controls & Adherence to SDIC’s set policies and procedures.
- Improvement in treasury and finance processes.
- Accuracy of financial models and investment analyses.
As per the Finance manual of authority and Policies & Procedures.
Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or equivalent.
- Professional accounting qualification ACCA or CPA etc. is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in banking, real estate, construction, or project finance is preferred.
- Experience managing loan facilities and escrow accounts is highly desirable.
- Experience with project finance and banking relationships is preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud.
- Good understanding of treasury operations and banking products.
- Knowledge of project financing and loan administration.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and bank reconciliations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
