Mussir is seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to support the performance and strategic oversight of a growing portfolio of hospitality assets. Acting on behalf of ownership, you will work closely with hotel operators, brands, and internal stakeholders to drive financial performance, operational excellence, and long-term asset value.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and evaluate hotel operational and financial performance across a portfolio of hospitality assets.
- Review budgets, forecasts, business plans, and capital expenditure proposals submitted by hotel operators.
- Analyse revenue performance, profitability, cash flows, and key operating metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct property visits, operational reviews, and performance assessments to ensure alignment with ownership objectives and brand standards.
- Support owner-operator review meetings and contribute to revenue optimisation, cost management, and business planning initiatives.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, benchmarking analyses, and performance presentations for senior leadership.
- Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and demand drivers to support commercial decision‑making.
- Assist with hotel acquisitions, operator selections, transitions, and due diligence activities where required.
- Build strong relationships with hotel operators, brand representatives, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience within hospitality operations, revenue management, hotel asset management, consulting, or a related discipline.
- Experience working with luxury and upscale hotel brands.
- Strong understanding of hotel financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with STR, Hot Stats, Opera, and other hospitality systems is advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
