Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule stewarding staff.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes are cleaned and sanitized.
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchens, storage areas, and waste disposal areas.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning chemicals and stewarding supplies.
- Train new stewards on cleaning procedures and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Coordinate with chefs and other departments to support smooth kitchen operations.
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance issues.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures.
- Prepare daily reports and monitor staff performance.
