JOB PURPOSE
Function Head – Internal Communications & Culture is responsible for shaping, strengthening, and sustaining the organization’s internal communication strategy and corporate culture. The role drives employee engagement, embeds organizational values, and ensures consistent, transparent messaging across the company. This position plays a critical role in building a unified workforce, compelling employee experience, and enabling alignment around strategic priorities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Internal Communications Strategy & Execution- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with the company’s mission, values, and business objectives.
- Lead the creation and distribution of clear, timely, targeted communications for all employees.
- Build communication frameworks for major organizational initiatives, including transformation programs, changes, and strategic announcements.
- Oversee internal content channels (intranet, digital screens, email broadcasts, leadership messages, townhalls, and campaigns).
- Act as the communication partner to Executive Leadership for internal messaging.
- Lead organization-wide initiatives to build, reinforce, and evolve a strong, positive, values-driven culture.
- Translate culture goals into actionable programs, rituals, and practices that strengthen belonging, collaboration, and purpose.
- Partner with HR, leadership, and cross-functional teams to embed culture into processes such as onboarding, recognition, leadership development, and performance management.
- Ensure cultural alignment during growth, restructuring, and transformation.
- Develop communication strategies that support change management efforts and enhance employee understanding, trust, and buy-in.
- Partner with the PMO, Transformation Office, and leaders to communicate change initiatives effectively.
- Own the annual employee engagement framework and support insights-driven culture interventions.
- Drive employee engagement action points through various department as a business partner.
- Provide strategic internal communication advice to executives and managers to ensure message clarity, tone alignment, and consistency.
- Establish an employee listening ecosystem (surveys, pulse checks, forums, open channels).
- Ensure internal engagements are branded including employee engagement, leadership development programs, training etc.
- Develop storytelling strategies that celebrate success, highlight achievements, and share impact narratives.
- Support employer branding in partnership with HR and Communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, HR, Business, or related field (master’s preferred).
- 12+ years of corporate experience. Out of which 6 in Human Resources Department. With related filed experience in Internal Communications, Employee Engagement.
- Proven success in building communication strategies in complex or fast-growing organizations.
