• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction-related contracts, including EPC, design-build, supply, and subcontracting agreements.
• Support contract negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and engineering firms.
• Ensure construction contracts incorporate risk mitigation strategies, performance guarantees, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
• Monitor contract execution, variations, claims, and enforcement to protect company interests.
• Adapt to and apply relevant industry-standard contracts (FIDIC or others), as required.

• Assist in obtaining construction permits, environmental approvals, and land‑use permissions in compliance with Omani regulations.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, health and safety regulations, and environmental impact requirements.
• Support regulatory interactions with municipal authorities, the Ministry of Housing & Urban Planning, and other government bodies overseeing construction activities.
• Maintain and update regulatory records, approvals, and compliance filings.

• Support the management of construction-related disputes, including contract enforcement, delays, and claims.
• Assist in handling regulatory challenges, non‑compliance issues, and contractor obligations.
• Work with external counsel and consultants on litigation, arbitration, or mediation if required.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Law, or other related field.
• Experience:
  
  3–5 years in construction law, project contracting, or regulatory compliance, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm handling construction‑related legal matters.
• Legal Admission:
  Qualification to practice in Oman. Legal experience in other GCC jurisdictions is a plus.
• Construction project contracting, EPC agreements, and project execution frameworks.
• Regulatory compliance for construction, including permitting, approvals, and safety regulations.
• Building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations applicable in Oman.

Language

Skills:

Excellent communication skills in English required;
Arabic proficiency preferred.
