Event & Sponsorship Manager
Formulate an event, CSR & sponsorship strategy at strategic, creative and implementation levels. Key skill required is at the implementation level, nonetheless with an ability to consider strategic and creative implications.
Managing and creating a calendar for events (internal & external) & sponsorship.
Project manage all event, CSR & sponsorship activities for Bank Dhofar.
Ensure all work is in line with the guidelines. Create a ‘check list’ to enable decision making ‘if’ or ‘if not’ a tradeshow or event should be exhibited at, spoken if a sponsorship activity (commercial or philanthropy) should be sponsored.
Organizing annual and quarterly results events, including the logistics for Board members.
Organize and oversee Bank Dhofar’s participation at all festivals, creating a positive brand atmosphere and the stand that everyone wants to visit.
Propose, budget and coordinate a Bank Dhofar mobile roadshow.
Continually evaluate, measure and document events and exhibitions Bank Dhofar have exhibited at and make future recommendations.
Seek new opportunities in line with Bank Dhofar's brand strategy.
Owner of all event and sponsorship budgets, inputting to the annual departmental budget.
Working with the Head of Department create a set of KPI's for your team, and agree a list of annual deliverables broken down by each quarter for each employee.
Ensure there is a full back up of all finished projects undertaken in such a manner as to make them easily retrievable at all times.
Prepare weekly status report covering all jobs being undertaken at any point – identifying any delays or issues in order for them to be resolved.
Create process and procedures for events and sponsorship and ensure they are implemented and followed.

- Bachelor's Degree holder.
- Should have 5 plus years experience in a similar role.
- Sound understanding of all disciplines within branding, marketing communications and product marketing.
- Should possess Understanding of the banking area in Oman.
- Should possess effective communication and presentation skills (Oral and Verbal).
- Should have a knowledge Planning & Organising.
- Should be self motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic.
- Should possess Analytical and Strategic thinking skills.
- Should be able to work with Team.
