Manager Product Development – Islamic Banking
- To develop new Islamic banking retail and corporate products and services based on the customer and market requirements with an objective of maximizing bank’s revenues.
- To take the initiative in developing & launching new products (starting with product proposals) and implementing product improvements by coordinating with relevant stakeholders such as Customers, IT, Operations, Finance, Sales teams, legal, Compliance etc.
- To conduct market research and analysis to understand current trends and customer preferences
- To monitor and manage the products throughout their life cycle
- To provide product training to the branch, call centre and sales staff
- To be the focal point-of-contact for the branches for all product and service related issues pertaining to the assigned products/services.
- Suggest and introduce value additions in terms of product features, pricing, packaging or bundling with best-fit products/services/channels for enhancing the business.
- To coordinate and implement advertising and promotional campaigns for the assigned products in close coordination with Marketing team and other service providers such as advertising/ promotional agencies.
- To prepare Legal Documentation Product Guidelines, Process flows, Manuals, Accounting Entries and Training Material and take approval from Senior Management & Regulatory authorities prior to execution and launch
- Overall, ensure that business targets for the assigned products are met.
- A candidate should be a University degree holder with work experience in product development in both retail and corporate areas for at least 7 to 10 years
- Oman National preferred
- Should be a team player and solution oriented.
- Should possess excellent communication skills in both written and oral.
- Should be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Should be self‑motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic
