Chief Executive Officer (Omani Nationality)
Job Purpose
The Chief Executive Officer will provide visionary leadership and overall operational oversight, steering the organization toward its mission of sustainable financial stewardship and community impact. The role focuses on strategic planning, investment oversight, governance, and compliance, working closely with the Board to ensure long-term sustainability, transparency, and measurable outcomes. The CEO will also act as the organization’s official representative and lead stakeholder engagement at local and international levels.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership- Develop and present the organization’s strategic plan and policies to the Board for approval.
- Lead the execution of long-term strategies focused on sustainable investment and growth.
- Propose and implement organizational structures, policies, and regulations aligned with strategic objectives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and continuous improvement.
- Define performance objectives and KPIs to track progress and organizational effectiveness.
- Represent the organization at high-level forums, events, and strategic engagements.
- Execute Board-approved policies and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Represent the organization in legal matters and official proceedings, as required.
- Ensure full compliance with ethical standards, governance principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee audits and reporting processes to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Oversee financial operations, ensuring sustainability through sound budgeting and investment strategies.
- Implement robust financial controls and risk management frameworks.
- Present annual budgets, financial statements, and performance reports to the Board.
- Identify and develop new revenue streams and investment opportunities aligned with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient functioning across all departments.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team with strong ethical and professional standards.
- Establish internal systems, processes, and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.
- Approve and sign contracts within authorized limits and approved budgets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and regulators.
- Act as the organization’s ambassador in external engagements, subject to Board approval.
- Promote the organization’s mission, initiatives, and financial stewardship to the wider community.
- Strong strategic thinking and policy development capability.
- Proven financial and investment acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- High ethical standards and governance awareness.
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to lead diverse, high-performing teams.
- Fluency in English is required;
Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Investment, Entrepreneurship, or a related field, MBA preferred.
- Proven senior leadership experience, ideally at CEO or executive management level.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in leadership, financial management, investment, or governance-driven organizations.
