Director of Projects- Construction

Provide executive leadership over all construction projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, to approved quality standards, and in compliance with contracts, authorities, safety, and business objectives.

• Lead multiple construction projects from pre‑construction planning to handover and defects liability.
• Set execution strategies, project priorities, resource plans, reporting structures, and delivery controls.

• Track budget variances, change orders, claims, payment certificates, and cost-to-complete forecasts.

• Manage consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to achieve contractual obligations.

• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, authority approvals, building codes, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.

• Identify design, authority, procurement, cost, legal, and site risks with mitigation actions.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, finance, procurement, legal, authorities, and owners on project matters.

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; PMP/RICS/Chartered status preferred.

• 15+ years in construction, including 5+ years in senior leadership; strong real estate development and contractor management experience.
• Project controls, contracts, FIDIC basics, planning, cost control, authority approvals, QA/QC, HSE, value engineering, claims management.
• Leadership, decisiveness, negotiation, accountability, strategic thinking, crisis management, integrity, stakeholder management.
