Senior Fund Manager Public Markets

Be responsible for the development and management of Public Markets - Asset Management business in a highly professional manner to achieve Bank's strategic objectives, focusing on growth of business, meeting client expectations, and complying with regulatory requirements.

• Formulate and oversee implementation of the overall business strategy in line with annual business plans and budgets.
• Manage and coordinate with team members to execute agreed strategies.
• Periodically review and report the performance of the business against budgets and strategic plans.
• Maintain best governance and control practices in close coordination with Risk, Compliance and Audit functions.
• Deliver growth and profitability per the mid‑term plan and annual budget for each business.
• Build strong client relationships to grow the business with government and private sectors in Oman and across the region.
• Monitor and coordinate day‑to‑day business activities.
• Suggest new strategies and policies, overseeing their implementation to resolve business challenges.
• Lead the team in engaging with clients and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote cross‑sell initiatives through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Propose initiatives to enhance business performance and future prospects.
• Contribute to talent management, HR recruitment, and plan required human capital resources.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and support to team members.
• Attend any other matters relevant to core areas or directed by the Bank.

• Certification: CFA or MBA, or equivalent qualifications from reputable institutions.
• At least 15 years of experience in similar roles within leading asset management firms.
• Hands‑on experience and thorough understanding of asset management business.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a competitive environment.
• Initiative and ability to generate ideas and drive them forward.
• Strong leadership skills to lead a multicultural team.
• Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
