Manager Administration
Job Purpose
To lead and manage employee welfare services and public relations functions by ensuring effective coordination of internal services, external stakeholder engagement, and employee well‑being initiatives while enhancing organizational reputation and providing a supportive, compliant, and efficient workplace environment.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development and implementation of Employee Welfare and Public Relations strategies aligned with the Corporate Services Directorate's objectives.
Ensure integration and alignment with HR, Safety, Security, and other corporate functions.
Lead the department through effective planning, governance, and performance management.
Manage and develop the team through recruitment, coaching, performance management, and succession planning, fostering a high‑performance culture and ensuring capability development across welfare and public relation functions.
Oversee daily operations of Employee Welfare and Public Relations services, ensuring efficient delivery of employee services, administrative coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Align processes and workflows to meet organizational performance targets.
Manage employee welfare programs including:
- Medical insurance and benefits
- Social and engagement activities
- Awareness and well‑being campaigns
Manage all travel requirements within OIA to achieve high‑quality service delivery and promote work‑life balance initiatives, flexible work, leave planning, etc.
Continuously assess and improve employee experience and workplace satisfaction.
Manage relationships with government entities, embassies, and internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee processing of visas, permits, and official documentation.
Represent the organization in external forums and coordinate public‑facing activities.
Oversee central administrative services such as:
- Manage vehicle usage and maintenance schedules in line with OIA policy
- Manage drivers' duties and schedules to ensure operational efficiency
- Hospitality and office support services
- Document handling and archiving
Ensure timely and efficient support across departments and smooth onboarding of foreign OIA new joiners through governmental documentation and transaction support.
Develop and manage departmental budgets; monitor financial performance and ensure expenditure aligns with approved limits.
Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures related to welfare and public relations, ensuring compliance with organizational, regulatory, and legislative requirements and maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality.
Coordinate with HR, Facilities, and Safety teams to ensure safe and hygienic workplace standards and consistent employee experience across locations.
Negotiate and manage relationships with vendors and service providers, explore partnerships to enhance employee services and public engagement, identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and service delivery, and drive innovation, cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Educational QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or any relevant field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Professional QualificationsAny Employee Welfare relevant certificate or training.
Work Experience11 to 13 years of related work experience.
