Job DescriptionJob Summary:
The Technology Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving sales and building strong client relationships by offering tailored technology solutions. This role requires an in-depth understanding of technology products, the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and a focus on identifying client needs to recommend the right solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their business goals and technology needs. Provide expert advice on products and services that can help achieve those objectives.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and propose customized technology solutions that address specific business challenges.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop sales strategies, meet or exceed sales targets, and actively identify new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Product Presentations: Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, clearly articulating the value proposition of the technology solutions offered.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction and becoming a trusted advisor.
- Market & Product Knowledge: Stay up‑to‑date with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive products to provide relevant recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with Technical Teams: Work closely with engineers, product developers, and other technical teams to ensure the proposed solution aligns with the client’s requirements.
- Negotiation & Closing: Manage contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and closing of deals, ensuring a win‑win outcome for both the company and the client.
- After‑Sales Support: Provide ongoing support to clients post‑sale to ensure successful implementation and address any issues that may arise.
Key Skills &
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Sales
Experience:
5 to 8 years of Proven experience in technology sales, consulting, or a similar role, preferably in B2B environments. - Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of various technology products (software, hardware, cloud services, etc.), and the ability to quickly learn new products.
- Communication
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technology in simple terms. - Sales & Negotiation
Skills:
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with a proven track record of closing deals and negotiating favorable terms. - Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify client challenges and propose appropriate technological solutions.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish rapport and build long‑term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Presentation
Skills:
Proficiency in delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations. - Time Management: Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team
Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and contribute to overall business goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Technology Sales, consulting or advisory capacity.
- Preferences will be given to candidates with Experience in Oman or GCC, with a driving licence and Car.
