Responsibilities
- Target transactional business opportunities within the market for multiple products which are linked to company s strategy.
- Have a passion and customer portfolio to have diverse selling capabilities through all products like Sea freight, Air Freight etc.
- Ensure customer communication is proactive and of the highest standard possible.
- Assist in the development of new business with existing customers that could be allocated to you for further development.
- Ensure that all customer data is entered into the reporting system.
- Be the leader and driver for all RFQs that you are handling.
- Constantly be in touch with the customers gained to ensure joint support from the company is provided from a sales aspect and all involved departments are working collaboratively towards customer s interests and improving our service deliverables to customers.
- Act as a key account manager for accounts by identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
- Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other stakeholders in other departments working on the same account.
- Minimum 2-3 year of working experience in a similar role
- Prior work experience in freight forwarding
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills
- Highly commercially driven
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- The ability to handle multiple client accounts
- Exceptional customer service skills
