We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our FMCG client’s office in Oman.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA is a plus.
  • 8–12+ years of FMCG sales experience.
  • Minimum of 4–5 years in regional/area sales management.
  • Strongly preferred experience in the confectionery category.
  • Preference for candidates with GCC/Middle East experience.
  • Balanced Channel

    Experience:

    Strong exposure to both traditional trade and modern trade/key account management.
  • Strong Distributor Management Capability:
    Proven ability to challenge and develop distributors. KPI-driven performance management. Execution follow-up and commercial relationship management. Strong market awareness.
  • Fluent English (mandatory), Arabic is a plus
  • The candidate is expected to be based in Muscat, Oman.
Key Responsibilities
  • To lead and accelerate business growth across Oman by:
    Strengthening distributor management, Expanding channel penetration, Driving sales growth, Ensuring balanced development across traditional and modern trade, Enhancing commercial execution discipline
  • Distributor Management:
    Drive distributor performance management, Monitor KPIs, Analyze sell-in / sell-out performance, Optimize route-to-market effectiveness, Oversee stock planning and forecasting, Develop joint business plans
  • Channel Development:
    Traditional Trade, Modern Trade, Travel Retail (SKU optimization, Promotional activation, Category visibility enhancement)
  • Commercial Management: P&L awareness, Pricing follow-up, Trade spend optimization, Profitability management
  • Reporting:
    Provide regular reporting to HQ on:
    Sales performance, Distributor action plans, Market insights, Competitive intelligence
