As a Sales coordinator, you will play a pivotal role supporting the Sales team at The Chedi Muscat. As part of our team in The Chedi Muscat, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, ensuring the swift and seamless delivery of sales operations and processes that underpin our reputation for outstanding hospitality. You will serve as an essential link between our sales teams, guests, and business partners, upholding The Chedi Muscat’s high standards.
Responsibilities- Coordinate daily sales activities between internal teams and clients, ensuring clear communications and efficient workflow.
- Support sales executives with client follow-ups, documentation, proposals, and contract administration.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, client information, and lead tracking within the hotel’s sales systems.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of sales and marketing materials in line with current campaigns and hotel programmes.
- Prepare and update reports, compile data, and analyze sales trends as required by the sales management team.
- Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.
- Provide prompt responses to client enquiries and support the development of lasting client relationships.
- Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Marketing, Business, or Hospitality Management.
- Minimum of one year of relevant sales experience in the hospitality or related service industry.
- In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of hotel products, rates, and marketing programmes.
- Excellent PC skills, including proficiency with MS Office.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with specific hotel sales or reservation systems.
- Experience in luxury hospitality environments.
- Multilingual abilities to support international clientele.
- Advanced knowledge of CRM tools.
- Prior experience with event management or coordination.
