Our five-star hotel in Muscat is seeking a motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue and increase bookings. You will work closely with the General Manager and other department heads to ensure that all aspects of the hotel's sales efforts are aligned with the overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to target corporate clients, travel agents and online booking channels.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and partners to generate leads and secure bookings.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
- Create attractive sales packages and promotions to drive demand for our hotel.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with other departments on pricing strategies, marketing initiatives and operational improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Train, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve their individual targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions and customer preferences to make informed decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel sales management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Familiarity with online booking platforms such as Expedia or is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
We offer a competitive salary of $1,000 per month plus attractive commission incentives based on performance.
