Role Description The Sales Engineer internship is an on-site role based in Muscat, supporting the design and sale of custom smart home solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting senior team members with client consultations, gathering technical and lifestyle requirements, and helping translate those needs into tailored system designs. The intern will support the preparation of proposals and presentations, provide basic technical explanations of products and solutions, and help coordinate with technical support and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, following up with customers under guidance, and learning industry best practices in residential automation and entertainment systems.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Sales Engineering and Technical Support, with the ability to understand and explain smart home technologies.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with clients, listen to their needs, and build trust.
- Interest or experience in Sales activities, including assisting in proposals, presentations, and basic deal support.
- Educational background in engineering, information technology, or a related technical field (recent graduates are welcome).
- Ability to work on-site in Muscat, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with home automation, audio-visual systems, or luxury consumer electronics is an advantage.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., office productivity tools) and willingness to learn new software and design tools.
