Sales Director

We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to lead and grow the FMCG business of a well-established company in Oman.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who understands the Oman market, has strong experience within FMCG trading or distribution, and is comfortable building sales operations and teams from the ground up.

• Lead the overall sales strategy and growth of the FMCG portfolio across Oman
• Develop and grow all key sales channels including Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Gift Market, Cash Vans and E-commerce
• Build and lead the sales team, including hiring, structuring and developing the function
• Drive the launch and expansion of sales across different territories within Oman
• Develop channel and territory strategies to maximise distribution, coverage and sales growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and trade partners
• Work closely with the business to establish effective sales processes, targets and route‑to‑market strategies

• Currently based in Oman, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Oman market
• Background working for an FMCG trading or distribution company
• Strong understanding and experience across multiple sales channels, including Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Gift Market, Cash Van and E-commerce
• Currently working as a Key Account Manager, Country Sales Manager or in a similar senior sales leadership role
• Proven experience building and developing sales teams
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to personally drive sales growth and build new channels and territories
• Good knowledge of the FMCG trade landscape and customer base in Oman
