Radio Technician – Muscat, Oman
We are seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment for communication purposes. This includes troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of radio equipment and possess strong problem‑solving skills.
This is a contract position with a salary of $1,700, without accommodation provided. A biometric passport is required for this position.
- Install and configure radio equipment according to specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on radio equipment
- Troubleshoot technical problems and provide solutions
- Ensure all radio equipment is functioning properly at all times
- Keep accurate records of work performed and any issues encountered
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radio Technician or in a similar role
- Familiarity with various types of radio equipment such as VHF, UHF, HF, etc.
- Strong understanding of electronic systems and components*
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem‑solving skills
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Biometric passport required
