Job Description
  • Acts the responsibilities of a technician as mandated by superior in conducting scheduled Repairs & Services to customers thru Job Cards.
  • Install and set up a variety of home appliances, such as refrigerators, chest freezers, washing machines, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, and microwaves.
  • Ensure that all appliances are properly connected to electrical and plumbing systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with malfunctioning appliances. Conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent potential problems. Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
  • Investigates and inspects complaints thru “Daily Job Card Report”.
  • Conducts invoice-verification for any discrepancy with the invoice.
  • Ensures that complaints are attended to at or before the promised time / date. But in case of any delay, the jobholder calls the customer in advance to apologize and to inform them the re-scheduled date.
  • Prepares the needed resources (parts / materials) for repair / service ahead of time.
  • Responsible for supplying all the necessary information in the job cards, to mention the symptom, defect, repair made, repair turnaround time (RTAT), promised date of repair, and provision of the customer’s signature (upon job-completion).
  • Allocates tasks to his team under him.
  • Reports all problems and abnormalities observed and encountered to his superiors for correction and prevention of further damage.
  • Conducts follow-up for uncompleted / pending jobs with the supervisor then updates the concerned customers for the feedback.
  • Conducts clearing of rented spare parts (if applicable) weekly.
  • Attending meetings as mandated by superiors.
  • Strictly follows all company and department rules, regulations, and SOP’s
  • Wear the company uniform neatly and presentably.
  • Ensures work safety and health practices by observing proper usage of safety gadgets / equipment, and apparel.
  • Also assumes the responsibility for tools or equipment.
  • Immediately reports all work-related accidents or any potentially unsafe conditions and matters to his supervisor.
  • Upholds all related duties concerning Customer Care Service.
  • Liaise with the customer service counsellors and spare parts section when necessary to ensure that all issues are resolved promptly with minimal disruption to service.

Requirements:

  • Education: SSC or Equivalent.
  • Professional: Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
