The Elevator Technician
- Installation will support elevator installation and erection work for commercial, residential, and infrastructure-related projects in Muscat. The role involves mechanical assembly, electrical support, alignment checks, component installation, and coordination with site engineers and supervisors. The selected candidate will help ensure elevator systems are installed safely, accurately, and according to approved shop drawings, technical standards, and project timelines.

• Carry out elevator installation and erection work as per approved drawings, site instructions, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Assist in installing elevator mechanical components, guide rails, brackets, doors, cabins, counterweights, machines, and related lift system parts.
• Support electrical installation activities including basic wiring, connection checks, control panel assistance, and coordination with electrical teams.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, layouts, technical schematics, and installation instructions.
• Work safely inside elevator shafts, on ladders, platforms, and at heights while following all safety procedures.
• Check alignment, positioning, fixing quality, and basic functionality of installed elevator components.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to complete assigned installation tasks on schedule.
• Use hand tools, measuring tools, lifting support equipment, and installation accessories correctly and safely.
• Report site issues, material shortages, technical conflicts, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working conditions around the installation area.
• Support testing, adjustment, and final inspection preparation after installation work is completed.
• Follow company procedures, project quality requirements, and site safety rules throughout all assigned work.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in elevator installation, lift erection, or elevator site works.
• Experience with reputed elevator companies is preferred.
• 10th pass or ITI qualification is suitable for this role.
• Strong understanding of elevator mechanical systems, installation methods, and basic electrical components.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings, schematics, layouts, and installation documents.
• Comfortable working at heights, inside elevator shafts, and on ladders or construction platforms.
• Good physical fitness and practical ability to handle site-based installation work.
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Able to work effectively as part of a site team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Responsible attitude toward safety, quality, punctuality, and proper handling of tools and materials.
