We are looking for a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team in Muscat. As a Carpenter Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced carpenters to assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will also be responsible for following blueprints and building plans to meet specific requirements. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques and a strong work ethic.
This is an excellent opportunity for students or individuals seeking entry-level experience in the carpentry profession. Salary is 1800$ per month.
- Assist in measuring, cutting, and shaping materials according to specifications
- Operate power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Follow blueprints and building plans to ensure accuracy
- Inspect materials for defects or damage before using them
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth progress of projects
- Comply with safety regulations at all times
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods
