- Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and repairs for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Educate clients on leak prevention strategies and the importance of regular maintenance to avoid costly repairs.
- Stay updated on the latest leak detection technologies and methods to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform routine maintenance on detection equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability during inspections.
- Respond promptly to emergency leak detection calls, minimizing potential damage and disruption for clients.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for insurance claims and client billing, ensuring transparency and trust.
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to continuously improve technical skills and industry knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training in plumbing or HVAC preferred.
- Relevant certifications in leak detection or plumbing, such as the Certified Plumbing Technician (CPT).
- Familiarity with advanced leak detection technologies, including acoustic and infrared tools.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and diagnose issues accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to explain findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an asset, especially in multicultural environments.
- Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
