Instrument Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Muscat Oman. As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various types of instrumentation equipment used in industrial settings. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month. Applicants must have a biometric passport and be authorized to work in Oman.

Nepali nationals are preferred for this role.

• Install, calibrate and maintain various types of instrumentation equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or issues with instruments
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and solve problems
• Stay updated on new technology and advancements in instrumentation systems

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
• Diploma or certification in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• Knowledge of different types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, etc.
• Familiarity with PLC systems and control loops
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physically fit to perform tasks such as climbing ladders or lifting heavy equipment
