We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Handyman to join our team in Muscat on a contracted basis. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks around our facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone without experience to gain valuable skills and experience in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
- Repair or replace broken equipment, appliances, or fixtures
- Install new fixtures or equipment as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify any potential issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Ability to use various hand and power tools safely
- Good communication skills in English
- Valid visa for working in Oman (visa sponsorship available)
We welcome applicants from all nationalities, with preference given to Indians and Africans. This is an English-speaking job, so proficiency in English is required. The salary for this contract position is 1100$, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
