We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and highly organized Member Experience Manager to serve as a key ambassador for our club. This role is responsible for fostering meaningful member engagement, coordinating exceptional club events, supporting membership growth and retention, and enhancing the overall member experience through communication, relationship-building, and club culture initiatives.

The ideal candidate is welcoming, creative, and self-motivated with a passion for hospitality, events and communication. They enjoy developing memorable experiences for members and their families, executing high-quality events, and collaborating across departments to ensure Geneva Golf & Country Club remains a vibrant and engaging place to belong.

This is a full-time, salaried, opportunity, approximately 40 hours per week. Standard in-office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with flexibility as needed to accommodate events.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute member engagement initiatives that enhance the club experience, strengthen member relationships, and support membership growth and retention.
  • Create and execute special events, including social and golf related events, external events, business meetings and private member events.
  • Serve as a welcoming and visible presence within the club, building strong relationships with members and guests while delivering exceptional service.
  • Lead member onboarding efforts, including membership applications, welcome materials, orientation experiences, member correspondence, and integration into club activities.
  • Manage member communications through email, newsletters, the member portal, social media, club publications, and other communication channels.
  • Promote club events, programs, and initiatives through engaging and timely communications that encourage participation and strengthen member engagement.
  • Coordinate social media content and club messaging to enhance awareness, participation, and member connection.
  • Collaborate with clubhouse, golf operations, food and beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution and outstanding member experiences.
  • Provide support for private events and assist with BEO (Banquet Event Order) administration to ensure accurate communication and execution of event details.
  • Manage event registrations, maintain event records, and track participation as needed.
  • Greet members and guests, answer incoming phone calls, address questions, and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Develop and support club culture initiatives that foster a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere for members and guests.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance member satisfaction and create memorable experiences throughout the year.
  • Provide cross-department project support and collaborate with leadership and department managers to achieve club goals and continuously improve the overall member experience.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, communications, marketing, business, event management, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in hospitality, membership services, customer service, event planning, marketing, communications, or administrative support preferred.
  • Experience working in a private club, hospitality, recreation, or service-oriented environment is a plus.
Required Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and events simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn club management systems and POS software.
  • Experience managing or coordinating social media content preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
