Job Title - Associate CADD Technician

Stanley Consultants is currently looking for an Associate CADD Technician for our Muscatine, IA office.
Position OverviewAs a Revit Technician, you will be responsible for creating and managing 3D Revit models in multiple disciplines, used in the design and construction of variety of projects. By using Revit, you will produce neat, legible construction documents that meet company and client quality control standards. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to ensure that all drawings are accurately represented in the models.
What You Will Be Doing:- Revise drawings under direct supervision from verbal and written instructions, marked prints, sketches,
- computations, and other sources prepared by others.
- Accumulate and assemble information as directed by drafting or task leads.
- Familiarize self with engineering, construction, or drafting terms and symbols.
- Check drawings for accuracy and coordinate revisions with project team.
- Prepare simple layouts under close supervision.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
- Develop and maintain 3D models using BIM software such as Revit.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure accurate representation of facility plans.
- Create detailed construction drawings and documents based on 3D models.
- Perform clash detection to identify potential conflicts in building systems.
- Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to ensure models are up-to-date and accurate.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably
- Ability to use Revit
- AutoCAD knowledge a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are beneficial
- Effective organization skills, including the ability to prioritize and plan tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Attitude of taking initiative, enthusiasm, eagerness to learn
- Experience in a construction environment and/or Structural or MEP industry preferred
Works only as directed for the purpose of learning the fundamentals of drafting and company drafting requirements. Accountable to drafting lead for project performance.
Stanley’s Approach to FlexibilityWhile some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or gible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule.
Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
