Requisition
Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tasks, including setup of models, guiding the team during a modeling effort, and reviewing work prepared by others.
- Collaborate with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, structural, and CAD) to produce plans and specifications.
- Consistently manage and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Mentor and lead staff.
- Participate in local professional organizations, preparing and presenting market‑specific papers and presentations.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Licensed Professional (PE) Engineer.
- Proficient with 1‑D and 2‑D hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, HEC RAS, PCSWMM, Hydro
CAD, or similar software. - Broad knowledge of water resources engineering analysis and design, with the ability to lead project development and determine solutions to meet client needs.
- Strong verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Excellent team leadership skills.
- Willingness to participate actively in professional organizations.
- Working knowledge of Auto Desk Civil 3D and/or Bentley Microstation products.
- Experience in site grading design, surface runoff management, detention design, and conveyance.
