Job Summary:
A Project Engineering Electrical Designer is needed for a multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, whose areas of business include pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare products, agricultural chemicals, seeds, and biotechnology products in the Muscatine, IA area. The Project Engineering Electrical Designer is responsible for independently creating electrical and instrumentation design drawings, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards, and collaborating with project teams to support construction and implementation.
Location: Muscatine, Iowa
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $28.62 - 42.93 per hour
Work Hours: 8am to 5pm
Education: Associates
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and instrumentation system design.
- Apply sound project design engineering principles to ensure compliance.
- Ensure systems and equipment align with company and regulatory standards.
- Assist in project reviews and system design activities.
- Conduct field installations reviews to verify compliance with designs.
- Complete as-built drawings verification and updates.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers, Project Planners, and Construction Field Coordinators to define project requirements.
- Develop detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings.
- Perform field verification to support project design.
Skills:

Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in Drafting/Design Technology or equivalent.
- 8+ years in electrical and instrumentation design in the process and industrial field.
