Electrical Engineer – Stanley Consultants

Work in one of the following locations:
Austin, TX;
Denver, CO (Centennial);
Minneapolis, MN;
Muscatine, IA; or Remote. The position is offered as a hybrid work arrangement.

• Lead project teams by managing other discipline engineers.
• Perform electrical system analysis—including load flow, short‑circuit, coordination, and arc‑flash studies.
• Design and model microgrid (distributed generation), battery storage energy systems, and photovoltaic electrical systems.
• Create electrical designs in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) for medium‑ and low‑voltage distribution, mechanical building systems, and lighting.
• Include campus distribution and building low‑voltage systems, and work with European voltage standards where applicable.
• Provide engineering drawings and specifications; perform basic engineering calculations; assist in sizing, selecting, and specifying electrical equipment; coordinate vendor information.
• Conduct project field site visits and support interdisciplinary coordination.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution.
• 2–8 years of experience in industrial, water/wastewater, federal, or power generation projects.
• Proficiency with electrical analysis tools such as ETAP, SKM, Easypower, AGI, or Visual Lighting Software.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• General understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
